CEO and Chairman of the Board, National Partnership on Alcohol Misuse and Crime

In honor of our 20th Anniversary, The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility is proud to honor and highlight people who make a difference in our 20 People to Watch. Stephen K. Talpins is the CEO and Chairman of the Board for the National Partnership on Alcohol Misuse and Crime (NPAMC), as well as an attorney with Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell. In addition to being named one of the 20 People to Watch, he has received numerous awards and commendations including the National Commission Against Drunk Driving (NCADD) Adjudication Award for Outstanding Prosecution, Citizens Against Drug Impaired Driving (C.A.N.D.I.D.) Award for Outstanding DRE Achievement, and MADD Florida Outstanding Prosecutor Award.

“We have a pretty good idea of what needs to be done with impaired drivers. We’ve been talking about it for a long, long time. Taking it from the theoretical and actually seeing it occur in the real world – that’s the tough part. That’s what we’ve been working on and I’m very excited about the prospects for the future,” Stephen remarks. We invite you to learn more about Stephen and the work he has done.
