In 2010, we began a fruitful partnership with eight-time olympic superstar Apolo Ohno that continue to this day. As the ramp-up towards the 2012 Olympics goes into full swing, we stand behind Olympic hopefuls Tyson Gay and Lolo Jones.

As Ask, Listen, Learn Superstars, these individuals have demonstrated it takes dedication and hard work to win. In order to reach their goal, they had to “Say ‘YES’ to a healthy lifestyle and ‘NO’ to underage drinking.” This allows them to do the best they can, on the field and off.

As the 2012 summer games approach, competitive athletes are not the only ones whose shoes are pounding the pavement. The Olympic Committee has dedicated the month of June as a time when kids should lace up their shoes and get active in their communities. Kids can visit Olympic.org where they can record what they are doing and be entered for a chance to win a trip to Innsbruck 2012!!

At Olympic.org you can see an interactive map to see what others are doing in your community and find motivation to get up, get moving and get fit! As part of your Olympic Day commitment, we encourage kids to sign the pledge to become a member of the Ask, Listen, Learn Team. Members of the team pledge to say “yes” to a healthy lifestyle and “no” to underage drinking, and stay active by committing to 60 minutes a day to engaging in a healthy activity.
