College students at Texas Christian University will soon know all about V.I.T.A.L.S, a student led campaign that tackles college binge drinking on campus. The campaign which was officially launched today at TCU, aims to inform and educate students about the dangers of binge drinking and most importantly, on how to recognize when someone is suffering from alcohol poisoning. The acronym stands for the symptoms of alcohol poisoning: vomiting, incoherent, temperature, absence of color, low breathing and seizures. Armed with this knowledge students will be able to take better care of themselves and potentially save the lives of friends and colleagues.

Remember, if you or one of your friends is vomiting, showing signs of incoherence, feeling a rise in temperature, turning pale, experiencing difficulty breathing or is having seizures, it is vital that you call for help.
