Throughout a varied career in politics,Yul has worked to improve our nation. With his help, Rep. Davis helped push through the Second Chance Act of 2007. Addressing recidivism, this act helps provide ex-offenders with the tools they need to re-enter society as productive members.
Yul currently serves as a board member for S.T.E.E.E.D., a non-profit organization established to introduce inner city “at-risk” youth to equestrian life and horticulture as well as DC Commission on National and Community Service. Yul is also a member of the Cambridge Who’s Who and has received numerous awards related to his work on congressional issues. Yul is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology.
“If I could wave a magic wand, I would like to see more African American males graduating from college,” says Yul. “Bigger, stronger, and healthier African American families and less people at or below the poverty line.” We invite you to learn more about Yul and the work he does.
