Impaired Driving Initiatives

Along with our commitment to fight drunk driving, our stand against operating a motor vehicle under the impairment of drugs is just as strong. Testing for impaired driving has shown to be a challenge for law enforcement on the scene. Without proper strategies in place, or resource availability, holding impaired drivers accountable will continue to be an issue. Responsibility.org established the National Alliance to Stop Impaired Driving (NASID) to increase awareness around, and help crackdown on, drugged driving on our roadways. This coalition allows us to pursue proven methods of combating impaired driving: DUI system reform, DUI detection, and improved use of data and technology.
