Sam Nathews

Vice President, Brand Strategy

With a knack for turning big ideas into bold campaigns, Sam leads brand strategy at Responsibility.org. Sam’s career at Responsibility.org began as an intern after his time as a student at the University of Alabama, where he played a pivotal role in the “LessThanUThink” campaign, promoting responsible drinking with Shaquille O’Neal. He quickly advanced to Director of Communications and Digital Strategy, leading the creation of the “Responsibility Starts with Me” campaign and other high-impact initiatives that helped shape the organization’s digital presence and messaging strategy. After sharpening his skills at the National Association of Manufacturers—where he built a marketing strategy division from the ground up—Sam returned to his roots at Responsibility.org, where he now drives digital innovation and brand storytelling. Sam lives in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Mary-Kate, their son Sawyer, and their golden retriever Teddy. When he’s not brainstorming the next big idea with his team, Sam enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide.
